“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” Galatians 6:7
I find so much encouragement in this verse. This world is full of ungodliness and unrighteousness. But I have hope because God is in complete control. He has power over every person on this planet. And one day each of us will stand in front of him for judgment.
So even though my heart aches at the culture that surrounds me, I know that my God is bigger than it all. I know that I can boldly speak out as a witness for him. There is no need for me to feel nervous or scared. “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
